Adding Partial Reps To Your Weight Lifting Workouts
Have you ever incorporated partial reps into your bodybuilding workouts? Nearly all of us who have trained with free weights have attempted to lift a weight that was too heavy for our muscles and after pushing the weight for a bit, felt it come crashing back down. This is one way to add partial reps to your muscle building exercises, but it’s certainly not the ideal way to make this happen.
If you’re considering partial repetition training to help you provide a new form of growth stimulating muscle overload, there are a few things that you should keep in mind.
First and foremost, partial rep training is for advanced bodybuilders. If you have only been training with weights for a few months, hold off on this technique until your gains hit a plateau and you need a boost.
