Buying A Heated Bird Bath For Your Garden
Adding a heated bird bath is an easy way to bring more birds into your garden. Bird baths attract different types of birds in greater numbers. A bird bath will attract just about every species of bird, while a bird feeder only attracts the type of bird that eats the food provided.
Three inches should be the maximum depth of an ideal bird bath. A bird bath you purchase in a store may be too deep. Stones placed in the bottom of your bird bath can help make it shallower if you find it’s too deep. Giving birds a bird bath with a non-slip coating on the bottom will help them use your bird bath safely.
You can do even more to attract birds in your garden by adding fountain to your bird bath. The sound of falling or dripping water is a great way to attract birds. Either way, your birds are sure to love you for providing them with fresh water all year round. In fact, a heated bird bath can help more of your wild birds to survive a harsh winter since open water is necessary for their survival!
