Saccharin can be used as a food that lower blood sugar. Saccharin is a substance originally found in grapes that is more than a hundred times sweeter than sugar. A little amount of saccharin can go a very long way to make food that lower blood sugar. However, it does not add volume to whatever it is that you are cooking making it not suitable for baking. Saccharin is also not suitable for drinks because of its aftertaste.
