While weight training workouts will help you gain muscle mass and strength, most of you still want to get into the best shape possible. Many weight trainers will try to gain as much bodyweight as possible to build more muscle. The only problem with this is that you’ll likely gain some extra fat along with that muscle. While you may have built up a nice amount of muscle mass you’ll have an extra layer of body fat covering up all of your hard work. To get more muscle definition you need to lose body fat with the right diet and cardiovascular workouts.
