Try an Australian Christmas Decoration theme
As an Australian I am naturally biased towards a Christmas theme of Australian Christmas decorations. For those that are not familiar with an Australian Christmas decorations theme let me explain. In Australia at Christmas it is hot everywhere. Unlike in Europe and in the United States where you enjoy Christmas in front of a fire with snow and hot dinners we enjoy Christmas by the beach or outdoors. Our Christmas decorations reflect the type of country that we live in. So instead of Santa being all rugged up in Australia Santa puts on some board shorts and goes for a surf! Australian Christmas decorations also reflect the deep love of Australians for our native animals and wildlife. We like to dangle our decorations shaped like koalas and kangaroos from the tree and wrap our presents with a spray of wattle. You can easily copy an Australian Christmas theme and imagine that you are on the beach this Christmas and throwing some shrimps on the barbie.
