Why Kids Like Barbie Costume
I was a little bit surprised that my daughter, who shows many of the same interests that I had when I was young, asked me if she could get a Barbie costume. She watched a DVD at a friend’s house that featured Barbie and the Twelve Dancing Princesses and was enchanted with what she saw. She asked for the dance mat for Christmas, and I thought it was more about the dancing than Barbie, but I’m not really sure any more. One day in the store we saw a Barbie costume that must be from the Dancing Princesses, and because it was on sale, I got it for her.
