Who could resist a beautiful upholstered chair
It wasn’t unusual to find furniture lying out front at that time of the year. Students were always moving out and getting rid of things in the spring, so finding an upholstered armchair in front of a rental house wasn’t unexpected. Nevertheless, it was an unusually nice chair. I was pretty surprised by it actually. It was a big upholstered leather chair, a recliner made for comfort and luxury. Although the foot rest was broken, everything else seemed all right about it. I felt pretty luck to have been the first person to find it.
