Automatic Coffee Makers

Before the drip automatic coffee makers became easily available at an affordable price, most coffee was made at home using a percolator. If you’re too young to remember how coffee was made in those days, then you don’t realize how fortunate you are. The old coffee pots came in several pieces: the outside pot that held the water and sat on the stove, the basket with holes that sat above the water and held the ground coffee and the piece that fit inside the pot with a hollow stem-like structure to support the coffee basket.
