Normally, the zune battery life is about 24 hours for a new zune battery. If you don’t want to run of battery life when you are on the road, here are a few tips to maximize your zune battery life.
Make sure to turn off wireless as wireless can sap your zune battery life.
You can lower the zune backlight and set to 1 or 5 seconds. Another option is to lower the brightness of the backlight. You should select low.
You should also use the hold setting as you may accidentally play music even when you are not listening. Keep the zune player in a cool and dry environment. The zune batter is made from lithium-ion batteries which last a bit longer in a cool place.
