Learn life skills from a life coach
About a year ago, when my life was a little “messy,” I was thinking, “Boy, I could use a good life coach.”
That thought led to me purchasing the domain name Life-Coach-Yourself. Once I had the domain name, I thought, “Well, I should really get a book on the subject and see what it’s all about.”
And, boy, did I ever pick a winner! I happened to choose “Coach Yourself to Success” by Talane Miedaner. (Read my review on the next page.) I learned so much from that book, about what it takes to make your life successful, it really had a big impact on me.
A life coach will teach you life skills, put you on a “life skills program,” so to speak. All these little life skills, such as being on time, communicating effectively, sending thank-you cards to everyone who does a service for you, etc., etc. … they all add up. These seemingly minor skills all add up to being overall important skills for life.
A good life skills coach can save you years of effort on your own. He or she can keep you focused on what’s important, help you to stay on track with your goals.
