Dell shows off South Dakota

Dell just announced that it will send some of it’s top employees on South Dakota vacations as a reward for their excellent work and work ethic. The employees will get to choose the spot they would most like to see. Some of the choices are Mt Rushmore, the Crazy Horse memorial, a badlands camping trip, the petrified forest, or just a short jaunt up to Wall Drug. These will be three day trips with the transportation, meals, and housing provided. Dell decided to do this not only as a reward for it’s employees but also as a way to show off the state as a way to thank South Dakota for all that the state has done for them. The trips will be on company time so everyone will get paid. Officials at Dell said that they would really like to include the family of the employee but the budget doesn’t allow for it at this time. If, at a future date, the funds do develop and the program is still in place then the families will be included. The program was announced at a company wide meeting last month and was met with cheers and applause. The plan may also be modified in the future to include all employees.
