How To Find Seized Cars For Sale

Friday, July 4th, 2008

If you are looking for seized cars for sale, the best place to look for them is government auctions. These are conducted all over the country and you can search online for more information on how to join and participate in government car auctions.

The cars being auctioned in government seized auctions are usually private vehicles that have been confiscated or impounded by federal government agencies such as the FBI. Rather than keep and hold on to them, they are auctioned off for very cheap prices, sometimes at 90% off retail prices.

Government seized auctions don’t happen everyday or even every week. You need to know which day the auctions are held. Different government agencies have different dates and times as well. Thankfully, there are a few websites online that provides such information.

One such site is Gov Auctions. They provides details of government car auctions in every state and county so you can see at a glance the latest government car auctions happening in your area. If you want seized cars for sale, search online first for the date and times.

3 Tips For Songwriting – How To Write Better Songs

Monday, June 16th, 2008

Here are some tips for songwriting which you should know before you even think of penning your next hit music.

Don’t think about the money.

Sure. You should focusing primarily on your music rather than the money. It’s easy to lose focus and become frustrated and angry when you are thinking how much revenue you can bring from your next homerun song. Well it doesn’t always work that way.

Listen to music of all genres.

The more exposed you are to all different types of music, the better. Songwriting is a creative process and the more elements of music you listen to, the more likely your song will be better.

Know your audience

It’s also important to know who your audience for the song will be. If your target audience does not identify with the song lyrics or melody, then it won’t become a hit no matter how much you like the song.

The Allure Of Alphabet Beads

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

Yet the proof, as they say, is in the pudding. Practically every variety of alphabet bead that I have sells out within a month of me getting the shipment. The sterling Silver alphabet beads, the plastic ones, and even the large ones for children are all quick sellers.

I was curious about why people bought so many alphabet beads, and I started asking my customers about it. What was interesting was the great variety of answers I got. Some people just liked making friendship bracelets for friends, while others had more elaborate plans. I even knew one guy who proposed to his wife through an alphabet bracelet. He put it on her wrist while she was sleeping one night and, when she woke up, she had an alphabet bracelet that said “will you marry me?”

Native American Music

Saturday, May 24th, 2008

Native American music is the creative, and beautiful product of a proud and ancient people. Elements of this style of music have been increasingly popping up in the popular genre of World Music. There is something about Native American music that is kind of mesmerizing. Almost induces a trancelike state of mind. Simple, yet somehow complex and harmonious at the same time, Native American music has a soothing quality to it that can make a stressful day seem somehow not so bad.

Cake Design

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

This culinary artist told me that cake design has been one of the most sought after courses in food design. In fact, cake designs are as old as cakes themselves. The very first person who manage to create a skin of icing on the cake was in effect, the very first cake designer. Ever since, there have been a number of improvements in the field, and not all of them have been widely accepted or used.

Unique spiritual jewelry

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

If you’re like me then you’ll be very interested in unique spiritual jewelry.
Apart from being decorative and attractive I like to wear a piece of jewelry that makes other people inquire about it.

From past experience, that’s normally because they’d like something similar for themselves.

I have my own set of spiritual beliefs that don’t exactly resonate with 1 religion in particular. Instead, I like to think of myself as being very open minded and accepting of all creeds and cultures.

I find it fascinating what other belief systems use as symbols for their beliefs and more often than not I too can adhere to their ideology.

Here is a list of some of the symbols that I’ve discovered have been made into pendants, rings & bracelets in gold & silver:

Magic square
Tibetan Om
Tibetan knot
Lotus flower
Star of david
Buddhi
Priestly blessings
Key of longevity
I am beloved
Tetractys
Bird of Rorschach
Guardian angel
Earth grace
Happiness
Grace truth
Peace angel
Key of success
Road talisman
Key of victory
Seed of life
Abundance
Cat’s eye
Enneagram
Key of prophecy
I ching
Egyptian scarab
Eye of Horus
Golden spiral
Tree of life
Christ consciousness
Personal creation
Ana becoach
Merkaba
Gods word

To name only a few!

What I adore about this type of unique spiritual jewelry is that apart from the obvious decorative effect, every single piece is meaningful and says something about you.

The people who take time out to create such unique pieces add a part of themselves and their wish for universal happiness and love.

It’s like sacred science, art and spirit have come together to produce something very special.

Wearing my own special piece of spiritual jewelry allows me to connect to my higher self as I instantly feel in tune with my own being.

Keep searching for what is the right piece of jewelry for you, but I think that if you get the chance to discover authentic unique spiritual jewelry like the above that you’ll feel truly blessed.

Visiting local Paris markets is a great experience and also free. You can blend with Parisians and for a second you can feel like one of them. Fresh produce markets with great fruits, vegetables and sea food, flea markets with antique and hand-crafted jewelry. The largest flea market in Paris is the Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen-Clignancourt. This is the flea market with over 2000 stalls includes antiques, bric-a-brac, clothing, jewelry and just about everything else. Most of the flea markets, including the Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen-Clignancourt and La Porte de Vanves flea market (at Avenue Georges Lafenestre and avenue Marc Sangnier in the 14th), are held on weekends, while the fresh produce markets could be found in almost any neighborhood and most days of the week.

Add A Hummingbird House To Your Garden

Friday, April 4th, 2008

An article excerpt for Add A Hummingbird House To Your Garden

A hummingbird house is an extremely simple thing. Although designs vary, all hummingbird houses consist of a small platform for the hummingbird to build its nest on, some sort of shelter, and some cotton or other soft material for the mother bird to build a nest. Getting the hummingbird to actually choose your house, however is another matter entirely. That hummingbird house sat vacant for a long time. I would watch it everyday, but there was never a hummingbird living in it. No one had thought about getting a hummingbird birdfeeder, but as soon as I found out that such things existed, I suggested it. By this point, my parents were a little bit tired of my obsession with hummingbirds.

Cake Decorating Techniques

Thursday, March 20th, 2008

I have just attended a nightclass in cake decoration and until I went I had no idea how many cake decorating techniques there were. I always thought that decorating a cake was a pretty simple affair. When I was growing up, my mother loved to make cakes. She showed me a couple of simple designs that you can use on a cake, and I copied her designs faithfully. I can make flowers, swirls, little ice cream cones, and of course all the letters in the alphabet. I was not the most artistic cake decorator, but I knew enough to make a pretty professional looking cake.

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

What is an artist supposed to do, who lives on a remote island somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. Right, start a Web site and shoe the artwork to the entire World nonetheless.

That’s what Elandria, who lives on the beautiful Canary Islands just did. She started her first Web site Elandria.com.

Her passion are Oil Paintings, but they are not too easy to ship, and actually quite expensive. To avoid all those issues with customs, and other shipping related issues, Elandria has decided to hook up with Imagekind.com. Those guys can make excellent, high quality prints and they do framing, too.

Right now there is actually also a short YouTube video, “Introducing Elandria”.

Wooden Purse Handles

Saturday, February 23rd, 2008

They have them in plastic, wood, bamboo and they come in a wide variety of colors. Once you have made your bag you simply attach the handles to it. She said that you can use them on cloth bags as well as yarn bags. They also come in a variety of lengths so you can use them as a clutch style or and over the shoulder bag. She told me which store she thought had the greatest selection as well as the best prices. She also told me that she goes to second hand stores to check out the purses. She said many times you can buy a purse for under a dollar and then she recycles parts of it for the handbags that she makes. I was very glad that she stopped to talk to me. She had some great ideas and tips that she was willing to share.

Collage Picture Frames

Sunday, February 17th, 2008

I like to commemorate family events and I always take lots of pictures. Often times I use scrapbooks to preserve these memories. However, they can be very time consuming to do and despite all your hard work guests may still not pick them up to take a look. An alternative to the time and effort a scrapbook requires is using collage picture frames to hold family memories. This has worked out well for me, and it can be a great gift to give when you just aren’t sure what to get.

I buy large collage picture frames each time we have a new occasion that I wish to remember in detail. I choose among the pictures for the very best ones, and those are the ones I print out on my computer or have done at the local photo shop. I put them in the collage picture frames and then I add anything else that might pertain to the event. This might be something like ticket stubs from a show or any keepsake from a vacation. It’s not possible to do for every event, but I always do it for the very special occasions. That way everyone can see our special memories right there on the wall or shelf. With a scrapbook, sometimes they just never get opened…

Camera Retailers

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

When you buy refurbished cameras online, you never know how long they will last. Maybe you’ll get lucky, but then again maybe you’ll be out of luck, with no warranty to cover it. Although they have come down in price recently, new cameras are still expensive. The key to getting a good deal is finding a good camera retailer

Photographic Galleries

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

When I was growing up, going to an art gallery opening used to be a big production. My parents were both big art buffs, and they loved going to art galleries downtown. We would always have to dress up, even if it was not a particularly special events. We would put on our good clothes, go check out a photography gallery, or a showing of someone’s paintings, and then spend the afternoon wandering among the various shops. It was a lot of fun, but it also seemed to use up a lot of time.
