If your current manager agrees to a partial telecommute arrangement, you don’t have much to worry about to keep the arrangement intact. Continue to be productive and abide by the rules as far as office days. If you want to find telecommute positions on your own, you have a different kettle of fish. As an independent worker, you’ll find there are plenty of scams, and you must learn to discern from legitimate working from home jobs and companies which are simply trying to make money by charging membership fees just to have access to their listings. Most of these sites have listings for which you must submit a bid. Frequently, the employer is only willing to pay a below-market rate for the work.

Don’t Fall for Easy Money Making Scams
It’s easy to fall for easy money making scams, but if you are informed, it is easier not to.
There are money making scams all over the Internet. It seems that everywhere you look, you find a website promising you easy money for little or no work. In some of these programs, all you do is swap money with other members. So, how do you know if a site is legit or a scam?
There are several things to look for. Does the website promise large amounts of money for little or no effort? Watch out for this one. Does the website promise that you can be a millionaire in a few weeks? This only happens if you win the lottery. A legitimate business provides a real service or product. For the business to be successful, this product or service must be in demand.

The value you don’t get back in dollars will be rendered in your family’s enjoyment while you do live there. Nonetheless, cash is a major consideration when you’re making your improvements. Since I left my full-time job last May I have been trying different things at home to see if I can earn a little extra income. One of the ways that I am trying to earn this extra cash is by starting up a home crafting business. It’s not very big, but I’m happy to report that I did get my first sale from the Internet recently. I already have the item made, so now I just have to mail it out to my customer. Since I want everything to look as professional as possible, I’m going to make sure I put personalized return address stickers on the package. I have been doing a little research on the Internet to see how much it would cost for me to buy personalized return address stickers.

Passive income streams do not mean that no work is involved, but rather that the work involved is upfront, in setting up the income stream. Once you have successfully set up a passive income stream you should be able to sit back and wait for the revenues to come in.
The holy grail of all passive income streams is to create streams that not only bring in money without any effort or supervision, but also last long term. A passive income stream that lasts forever is priceless. It would just sit there and put money into your bank account for the rest of your life, and then for your children and grandchildren.
However, this is quite rare, as even the best investments that allow terrific passive income streams can be affected by economic trends and downturns.

The idea of implementing Total Quality Management can be very daunting. It is an extremely complex process. However, by following the points mentioned below, the “complex” can be eliminated in order for the implementation to become just another “process”
- Fear must be eliminated – modern methods of training andsupervising need to be adopted.
- By studying processes, facts can be gathered – standards based only on numbers and goals without methods need to be eliminated.
- The realization must be reached that improvement of the systems need to be managed.
- A long-term commitment concerning continuous improvement is crucial to any organization.
- In order to manage the implementation of TQM, a systematic approach needs to be developed.
- People need to be trained to understand the relationships regarding suppliers/customers.
- The culture needs to be changed to right first time. Thus, a philosophy of zero defects/errors needs to be adopted.
- Improvement of teamwork and communications – by managing the process, barriers can be eliminated between different departments.
- Experts must be developed within the organization. Constant retraining and educating is necessary for this to happen.
- The total cost of services/products needs to be considered – services/products must not be bought on price alone.
Thus, leaders should always consider the above mentioned points when implementation of Total Quality Management(TQM) is necessary in their respective organizations.

Dense Media Separation (DMS) is a process where a suspension of dense powder in water is used to form a type of heavier liquid to separate mineral particles in a sink-float process. DMS of course takes place on a DMS plant. Enhancing its capacity is extremely important to every DMS plant. However, it is unfortunately easier said than done to achieve this. Below are some methods to be used when a DMS plant reaches the moment when capacity enhancement is crucial.
- Replacing the total plant.
- Adding a whole new module.
- Increasing the utilization and availability.
- Replacing it with bigger equipment.
- Increasing the feed rate in spite of efficiency.
- Replacing it with an alternative process.
- Changing over to a four shift/seven days per week roster.
As could be expected, cost implications seem to vary around each of these. It is the function of the maintenance team and the plant operating team to always try and maximize the increase in utilization and availability. The following is applicable to a Dense Media Separation plant: in order for complexity to increase, total availability must decrease. Through the simplification of the flow line, it will be possible to increase utilization and availability. It will also bring forth a reduction in cost.

Throughout the first half of the twentieth century, George S May worked as a management consultant who helped organizations of all sizes to bring positive changes to the way in which they did business. In doing so, he built his own organization of management consultants so that he could train others to help corporations in the future. His contribution to the annals of American history does not end as a management consultant, however. Instead, George S May also made a name for himself as the man who brought innovation, change and the national spotlight to the game of golf. Instead of continuing to treat the game as merely a pastime, George S. May found ways to apply his consulting expertise and turn it into a major sport.
As a business consultant, George S. May realized that the way to bring about long term changes to the game of golf was not as a person who engineered all of those changes on his own and forced them upon others. Instead, as a promoter of the game, he could model certain behaviors and activities to others as a way to encourage positive changes to be adopted universally to the betterment of the sport.
George S. May owned the Tam O’Shanter Country Club in Niles, Illinois. In 1941, he began to host golfing championships at his club, and in this way did his work at promoting the sport begin. George S May first noticed that golfers on the professional golfing circuit were extremely low paid and so played more for the love of the game than as dedicated professionals. As a result, golf garnered few followers and little attention from the wider pool of potential fans.
Knowing that he could model changes that would affect the entire sport, George S. May began by offering huge amounts of money to those who participated in his tournaments, with winner’s purses equaling sums far greater than they could ever earn elsewhere. To earn money to offset these purses, as well as to bring additional fans to the sport itself, George S May began utilizing the best practices he’d seen modeled in other sports arenas and built bleachers at various holes so that participants could follow along as the game was played. He also offered food and drink through concession stands, to enhance the feeling of attending a major sporting event. But perhaps his most innovative change was to invite in television crews to broadcast the game to viewers around the country, cementing its place in the realm of sports. For his innovative efforts, George S. May was included in the list of 100 Heroes of American Golf.

You know what it’s like. You set yourself a goal, something you want to achieve. You are excited and ready to take on the world, and then a few months later you can’t even be bothered to spend 10 minutes working towards achieving it. Well welcome to being human! It is so easy to go from excitement to complete apathy but there are things you can do to ensure you stay motivated towards your goal and following are seven great ones!
1. Is Your Reason WHY Large Enough?
When I wanted to lose weight setting a goal to look great in clothes was not big enough, what didn’t help was the fact that I loved who I was and what I looked like, but my health had begun to show signs of being affected by my excess weight and this is the WHY I used to ensure I stayed on track. I started with 6 weeks of no diary, no wheat and red meat only once a week. Do you think I needed a big why to stay committed to such a regime??!! I knew that health is my true wealth. Having been unwell for 6 months and hardly able to walk had taught me that without my health my goals were useless. So maintaining a healthy body that would allow me to enjoy the fulfillment of my goals was the big WHY that kept me on track.

The George S. May International Company celebrates its 83rd Anniversary in 2008 as the world’s foremost management consulting firm to specifically address medium and small businesses. It should be noted, however that the George S May Company serves large businesses as well through their major accounts program. Since George S. May himself founded the company in 1925, the George S May International Company has maintained its focus on helping companies improve their business operations.
The history of the George S. May International Company parallels, and is interwoven with, the history of American business from the 20th century to the present, and the company is also among America’s most successful family-owned companies.
Very few of the companies started throughout the past eighty years are still in business. Fewer still are doing the same kind of work the founder set out to do. The company’s success not only in business terms but in terms of maintaining its focus on its mission testify to the business skill, marketing genius and foresight of founder George S. May (1890-1962).
“I don’t believe too much in looking back. If you’ve done well, you’re too inclined to become smug. If you’ve done poorly, you’re inclined to become discouraged. Keep looking ahead - yesterday’s done with - think about today and tomorrow,” commented Mr. May in an interview in the 1940s.
George S. May, the pioneer of management consulting, was born in Windsor, Ill., on June 5, 1890. May applied his enjoyment of mechanical and technical issues by becoming a freelance problem-solving consultant to companies. By 1924, George S. May had married and had a family to care for, settling in Chicago. February 1, 1925 was the day he founded the George S. May Company. The company billed only $10,000 during its first year. Yet only three years later, the company billed around $250,000.
Like many others, the George S May company suffered from the stock market crash of October of 1929. George S. May’s courage, and the confidence he inspired in his creditors, helped the company survive and even thrive through these tough times. Billings continued to rise, topping $1 million by 1937.
In 1929 the company opened offices in New York City and San Francisco. The company moved headquarters to downtown Chicago in 1940 and occupied a series of offices there for the next 26 years.
As the U.S. entered World War Two, the George S. May International Company worked for U.S. government and many war-related companies to streamline operations in order to meet wartime needs. By the war’s end in 1945, billings topped $6 million.
George S May realized that the end of the war would change the business scene, and adapted by moving toward servicing smaller companies formed during the war rather than industrial giants.
These new markets exploded and as a result the company expanded, with more than 500 employees by 1950. The company continues to thrive by catering to small to medium sized businesses, topping the $100 million mark in billings since 1990.

Lee Greif, known for his public service, his volunteer work, his work as a father and husband, and his business skills, stepped up to take over the family business when he was needed. Once he had realized the business opportunity with the family business, however, he decided to sell the business to open up opportunities to buy others. The first company that Grief purchased was a company that sold and leased modular commercial buildings. These buildings were sold to schools, banks, and other businesses who found that they had temporary space needs. Mr. Grief sold that business, but has kept hold of three other commercial ventures that he purchased after the sale of the business.
2003 was the year that Mr. Grief purchased his second commercial venture, known as Field Force Media Services. Found at www.fieldforceusa.com, the company aides it’s customers with electronic media transfer and distribution nationwide. The company offers high speed CD duplication and DVD duplication, and can complete nearly all of the orders within a 24 hour time span. Along with the actual burning onto CDs, the company offers high resolution printing directly on the CDs or DVDs; this is incredibly helpful for those who wish to do more than write, or place a sticker, on the actual CD. The company also has found success in offering different types of CD packaging; the company offers the jackets for the CDs as well as the jewel cases. Field Force Media has strived to offer a one-stop shop for those who wish to distribute electronic media.
After the success of his first two companies, Greif purchased Premier Marketing, Inc. This company, found at www.permieremarketinggroups.com publishes corporate image books and brochures for those in the home building and automotive fields. The company creates and publishes first class brochures, offering great styling and design details that help make a seamless connection with the brochure writing and pictorial needs of the brochure. The company publishes approximately 150 different books per year, meeting the needs of those individuals and companies across the nation. The company has an in-house graphic design team that designs each brochure in a custom manner. By partnering with current homebuilders, they can better understand the needs of the homebuilders who need help creating a successful and informative brochure.
The final purchase in Lee Greif’s family owned portfolio came in his purchase of Pro Mail Services in 2007. The most recent purchase can be found at www.promailservices.com, and is a nationwide company that offers direct mail and warehouse services to all customers. The client base is international, and offers a range of services. This includes list maintenance, personalized letters, printing, and fulfillment, all staples of the direct mail marketing plan. The company boasts over 24 years of experience in the business, and can handle nearly everything; self-mailers, envelope packets, coupon books, and personalized letters are all a part of the business. In an important cut above the rest, the company offers to clean the mailing lists, so that customers are as efficient as possible with their direct mailing campaigns.

Asking the Right Bankruptcy Questions
When you are in deep trouble with your finances, you may have tried just about everything to get out of your hole. Some like to go through credit counseling or get debt consolidation loans. However, those things don’t always work for everyone. In some cases, families or individuals find that bankruptcy is the only option that they have. Though this seems like the easy way out, most won’t advise it unless it is the only thing that can save them financially. Before anyone goes about doing this, they had better ask the right bankruptcy questions before they begin.
One question to ask would be if they should do it on their own or if they should have a lawyer. Most are better off with a lawyer, but that is not always possible. This is a decision that each person will have to make, but it is one of the first bankruptcy questions that they should ask themselves. Some lawyers who handle bankruptcy know that money is more than limited, so they may take payment plans. Doing more research on bankruptcy lawyers can answer some of these questions. You may even find a great one through the Internet if you look around.
Another of the most important bankruptcy questions that anyone should ask would be what this will do to their credit. Though some think that they are going to be better off, that is not always the case. You can get credit after bankruptcy, but it is not always the credit that you want, and it will come with a very high interest rate. Credit consolidation loans and other options should be considered first because they will not be as harmful to your credit situation as bankruptcy will be when it is all said and done.
Other bankruptcy questions might include how long the process might take and if there are any debts that might be excluded. There are times when you may have to go to court for your proceedings, and other times you may be able to skip that step with the help of a lawyer. You may also find that some debts like student loans are exempt from bankruptcy. That means you will still owe that money once you have gone through the process, and it will still be on your credit report. You can think of bankruptcy as a new start, but one that definitely comes with a price.

What is Sub-Prime Financing?
For over 40% of Americans, Sub-Prime is a term that is very familiar. With the recent crash of the sub prime home loan market there are in creasing numbers of individuals in need of loans. Unfortunately for these people loans are harder and harder to come by. What can you do? Fortunately there are still a lot of companies out there willing to help sub prime loan individuals. Banks will still go out on a limb to help you but not as readily.
In order to make you more appealing to lenders, start trying different methods to increase your credit score as much as possible. Debt Consolidation helps a lot. Debt consolidation companies take all your outstanding credit card debts and make the manageable. They negotiate with your credit cards to lower your interest rates and let you pay them directly to settle your debts eventually.
I say eventually because even though it’s at a reduced rate you still are going to be paying this for a while. What it does for your credit however is show timely payments on a regular basis. This will help your credit a lot while maybe not instantly getting you “good” credit; it will send you on your way to better possibilities.
Sub-prime loans are a huge industry and there are hundreds of banks waiting for you to ask for a loan. Just be careful! Make sure you read all of the fine print so you know you can handle any APR they give you. If you have already filed for a bankruptcy you know you cannot file again for 7 years so you need to be extra careful about how you take out loans and manage your debt.
While home loans may be near impossible to get for sub prime at the moment. Auto loans are much more easily obtained. While you can expect to pay a lot more in APR than a typical borrower, you can find manageable rates with dozens of companies who are in business for the sole purpose of making an auto loan happen for sub prime borrowers.
A simple search on google can turn up hundreds of such sites. You can expect a free loan application that requires basic information such as name, address, income, and social security number. What most people don’t realize is that these companies usually aren’t the direct lender. They actually just match you up with an auto dealer in your area that specializes in poor credit auto loans. The dealer will then call you from the application and they will attempt to get you an auto loan through their bank relationships.
The good news is that they have special lending institutions that they partner with specially geared towards sub prime customers, so you can be 99% sure you will get approved and have a pretty good looking vehicle to drive home in.
Never get too discouraged over your credit score, always remember, many people have done a lot more with a lot less. You are the master of your destiny, only you can make your dreams come true. You are not a credit score!
