A clean solar powered bird bath is attractive to birds. This will keep down the mosquitoes population as well as discourage growth of mold and algae.
Cleaning your bird bath is easy; firsts empty out all the water and then spray out with your hose. Scour the whole surface of the bath with a stiff brush to eliminate algae and grime. Some bird bath owners often prepare a homemade solution containing 3/4 cup of bleach and 1 gallon of water, but I think that plain water will do the job just as well. After soaking the bird bath for 20 minutes, stubborn stains should easily scrub out. You can also use specialty bird bath cleaner as an alternative to cleaning your bath with bleach.
Once the bath is done soaking, a stiff brush can remove any remaining marks or discoloration. After cleaning your bird bath with bleach or bird bath cleaner, rinse it completely.
Just add fresh water and see how the birds will frolic in your clean bird bath. Keeping the bird bath clean is a quite a job, to make the task easier it should be cleaned out a couple of times in a week.

When it comes to household chores, I am a pretty handy person around the house. I do more than my fair share of the chores. I wash the vessels on a regular basis, I cost most weekdays when the missus is tired or even just plain bored. I take care of the needs of the kids, take the garbage out and in general pretend to be a handy man with the tools whenever the faucet leaks or the plumbing gives up. But if there is one thing that I abhor and just cannot get myself to do, it is apartment cleaning.

I am aware that it’s easy to be lured to go for lower prized swimming pool cleaners because of the amount of capital you will save, but be aware that “you take what you pay for”; less pricey is not always good, specifically as regards pool cleaners.

Until recently, I didn’t really realize that asbestos removal was serious business. Like everyone, I heard about the threats from asbestos when the World Trade Center was attacked, but I had figured that that was only because of the destruction of the building. It seemed likely that most people had already had asbestos removed or contained, and I didn’t realize that it was a real problem.
I was in for some surprising and unpleasant results when I started to renovate my home. To my surprise, there was asbestos all over the place! Some of it wasn’t really much of a problem. When I hired someone for asbestos siding removal, he gave me an extremely reasonable estimate.

Though he has cleaned a few of his shirts on his own, and sadly had better results that I have had, I still have to find a way to clean them. When he first told me about the white shirt rule, I knew this would happen. Now I have to pretend I know what I am doing. Is there such a thing as a cheap disposable white shirt? My guess would be no, that’s just my luck. Too bad he isn’t a Wiggle. There may be a lot of shirts, but at least they are colored. Sigh.

For many, the detox is a continual or periodic process from DAY ONE. But for others, it may take 10 months before they detox. Maybe their tissues are “cemented,” or they may have good cellular memory. Many older people had healthy lifestyles for the first 10 or 20 years of their life, and weren’t exposed to today’s toxins back then. The cellular memory from those formative years meant there isn’t a bunch of toxins hanging out at the surface. Perhaps they will detox at a much deeper level.

We’ve all done it. You are driving down the road and suddenly you find yourself passing big houses. We ooh and ahh, saying how much we’d love to live in one of them. Perhaps we even slow down to admire the landscaping and the décor that the big houses have. We admire the fact that the lawns are perfectly maintained. We cannot help but wonder what careers the residents have that allow them to live in such luxurious and big houses. Admit it, we’ve all pondered this.
What we don’t always realize is the big houses don’t just mean big mortgages. They also mean bigger bills. Having a big house means that you have more space to heat and cool. Utility bills could be incredibly higher than a normal sized house. Taking care of those big lawns and maintaining perfection can be quite costly as well. Most times, to get that look of perfection, it is necessary to hire landscapers to create and maintain its appearance. Residents of big houses are probably using more water as well; in the numerous bathrooms and watering their perfect lawns. Most likely, if they own pools, that is adding to the using more water as well.
And the absolute worst part about living in big houses is that there is much more to clean. Granted, most people who live in big houses likely can afford to hire people to do the cleaning for them. That’s one more expense. But, if you don’t want to hire a cleaning service, you are stuck with extra rooms and more space that needs to be cleaned.
More and more these days, big houses are being built from scratch and for the amount of money people are paying for them, they are on incredibly small lots. Suddenly, there’s this beautiful big house without very much of a yard. Since there aren’t large yards, these big houses tend to be built practically on top of each other. You’d think that if you were going to spend the amount of money that those big houses are costing, you’d want more privacy and a larger property. But, people are buying the big houses with tiny lots. There are lots of advantages and disadvantages to having small yards and incredibly close neighbors though – it comes down to being a personal preference.
One thing that many residents do find is that big houses are often built quickly. The quickness of the building may mean that for the amount of money that you are spending, you may not be getting quality. Sometimes, it is the older homes that are built more secure and stable. Homeowners may find that they have more problems when moving into these brand new big houses.
So, the next time you’re driving through a ritzy neighborhood, drooling, think about all of the disadvantages to having a large home. When you get home to your smaller house, maybe you’ll feel a bit more contented.

You would never believe how much of a difference having the correct plastic storage boxes makes in your day-to-day organization. The difference has been incredible for me. I was never a person who put a lot of stock in containers until my girlfriend got me into it. She loves plastic storage boxes – she loves any kind of box, basket, carton, container, or closet. She is just one of those people who gets a kick out of things you can put other things into. Anyway, she taught me all about organization. The most important thing is to have a system, and the system starts with your plastic storage bins.

Let’s face it, cleaning out the cat litter box is never at the top of a pet owners favorite things to do. And disposing of the clay can be a real chore. Sometimes it’s hard to decide which air purifier will be best for cleaning the air in your home. Basically you have three main choices. They are HEPA, Ionic Breeze, or Ultra Violet. Determing which one is best actually depends on the problem you are trying to get rid of. Each one is strong in some areas, and not as strong in others.

Have you seen the different powdered cat litter deodorizers at the store recently? If you are not familiar with them, they are basically boxes of baking soda based fragrences and powders sold by Arm & Hammer and other companies that are sold in the pet aisles of large supermarkets and department stores such as Target over by the cat litter. These deodorizers have actually been around for about 10 years or so, but are starting to more recently catch on. A normal box goes for about 4 or 5 dollars, and they have jumbo boxes available at some stores. If you havent tried them, they do work fairly well. Molds are fungi that cause spoilt food and some diseases as well. Not all of them are dangerous; some even lend a hand in degrading food and other natural wastes. Other types of mold are also instrumental in making beverages, food and medicine. These fungi can be seen anywhere in the world and can virtually survive at some of the more extremes temperatures.

What I did learn was that mattress covers can eliminate all of the allergens that would be disturbed and become airborne during any movement while we are sleeping. While I may never notice any allergies, someone who is more sensitive will definitely benefit from having mattress covers. Their lives may be made much easier.

What are Mold Allergies?
When many of us think of mold, the image that comes to mind is that of the substance that we may find growing on our bread, or the yucky stuff that appears in the corners of the shower. Many people will also think of medicines we have gained from mold such as penicillin, or the products we create with it like cheese and black tea. A lesser-known effect that mold brings into many people’ s lives is mold allergies. Mold allergies are similar in many ways to pollen and other allergies, yet they have their own differences and quirks.
How do Mold Allergies Work?
Generally, mold allergies strike people in a way that is similar to pollen allergies. The mold spore (or part of the spore) is inhaled through the nose or mouth and due to their small size may evade the body’s protection against them. Once they reach the lungs they cause allergic reactions in some people that are similar to that of pollen allergic reactions For more Info on mold

My kids got a bunch of the sticky candy intertwined within the fabric of my rug. There was little I could do in this home chewing gum removal project short of cutting the stuff out and that wouldn’t be good for anyone. My options were pretty vast, too. The first thing I tried was ice cubes. Sure, this worked for the surface stuff that really didn’t dig into the fabric of the rug. But when I got down to the nitty-gritty, I was at a loss. Nothing worked for the really tough sticky stuff caught up in the fibers of my beautiful rug.

How many times have you come inside and simply set your cowboy hat down on the table with the brim side down? This is absolutely the wrong thing to do. Cowboy hats should always be placed on the crown for a couple of reasons. First sitting it on the brim will eventually flatten it out, and you don’t want your hat to lose it’s shape. Second you should always pick your hat up by the brim. It helps keep the crown from getting dirty, and felt cowboy hats are very hard to clean.

When I purchased a full sized leather couch for my living room I was mostly concerned with the delivery of the product. I wasn’t thinking too far in advance and I really just wanted to see the item in place. Leather furniture conditioner was the last thing on my mind.
Shopping online for furnishings is pretty easy and I really love that I can browse through so many pieces in little time at all. The convenient process is one that is appealing to anyone who wants to save time and it is a great way to avoid pushy salespeople. Unfortunately, it also is a great way to stay in the dark about products like leather furniture conditioner
