With the training regimen that the individual utilizes, the ability to communicate to the body through energy allows the practitioner to go from good health to extreme fitness and strong mental faculties. With all the effort at increasing the circulation and stimulation of the bodies energy, the body regains its ability to heal and begins to recuperate. With this regeneration of energy, the concept of health and the bodies energy, the individual gains a strong control over the energy referred to as ki.

While the physical health of the practitioner is certainly important, Dahn yoga refers to far more than simple fitness and focuses on the balance of peace and harmony in the life of the individual as well.
