The Fight Club DVD has everything a guy could want in a movie. Conversely, it is far from being a chick flick. It has everything a guy likes to see in an action movie, fighting, blood and gore, explosions, sex, violence and a touch of lunacy. However, the Fight Club DVD is more than just an entertaining action film. The movie points out that there is something terribly wrong within our society today when highly educated people feel the need to revert to violence and cruelty just to relieve some of their tension and aggression. Sadly, while the Fight Club movie pointed out society’s diseases, it never offered up a cure. Nonetheless, knowing that there is a disease is the first step to finding a cure for it, and the Fight Club DVD did just that.

Dorothy and her cute doggy Toto do not try to find way home from behind the rainbow any more after an English rock band Pink Floyd gave their own version of Pink Floyd Wizard of Oz, Dark Side of the Rainbow.
Wait! Wizard of Oz, an MGM movie, was made 1939 – according to my son, in the ancient times. To be truth, Pink Floyd’s 1973 album, The Dark Side of the Moon, lies for him in the same ancient times.
Now, on the more serious note: Dark Side of the Rainbow aka Dark Side of Oz aka The Wizard of Floyd, is some sort of synchronization between classic MGM movie and Pink Floyd album. One watches the film and listens to music at the same time. Many believe that the movie and the music somehow correspond with each other.

Have you ever thought about why some people become obsessed with something? How some people it is collecting certain items such as stamps, coins, rocks or a certain kind of figurines. Other people may become obsessed with an activity or sport or professional sports teams. There are a great number of people that spend a great deal of money to attend the home games of their favorite teams and to buy all the paraphernalia that is available. Some people will concentrate on one player of a team and others concentrate on the team. There are other people that become obsessed with famous personalities such as a singer, actor or band. They will collect albums and posters and spend money going to concerts.
My sister has had a complete obsession with the pirates of the Caribbean movies. I was not surprised, because as a child when any movie or television program would be on she would drop anything that she was doing to watch it. When she was twenty she had a small skull and crossbones tattooed on her shoulder blade. This was before tattoos were popular. To this day, thirty four ears later she still has not told our mother that she has the tattoo. When she was in high school, when most other girls were drawing hearts on they’re notebooks, she was drawing skulls and crossbones. Now in this age of zero tolerance of anything remotely violent in schools she might have gotten kicked out for having the skulls and crossbones displayed on her notebooks.
For her birthday this year her husband wanted to have a surprise party for her. Her birthday is on Christmas Eve so she never really gets any special attention for the day. Her husband thought that it would be a huge surprise if it was done in the middle of January. He would take her out for dinner and celebrate her birthday as usual the day before Christmas and then in January we would surprise her with a party. He asked me if I would help. Of course he wanted to go with a pirate theme. We had a great cake made that featured the skull and crossbones. The cake looked like a pirates flag. I bought the supplies and asked my sister-in-law, who is a wonderful seamstress, to help me make a huge flag with the skull and crossbones on it. When it was completed we rolled it up onto a wooden dowel. When my sister walked into the room we started singing the traditional birthday song and we pulled a string which caused the huge pirate’s flag to unfold. She loved the party, especially the theme. Since her party the skull and crossbones fly high above their home. They are the only people in the neighborhood with a pirates flag hanging on their flag pole.

There is nothing like a good James Bond movie to fill a relaxing afternoon at home. My husband and I look forward to the holidays for many reasons including the reruns of these classics that are offered on some cable channels. We love to spend a couple hours watching a James Bond movie before getting ready for holiday festivities.

I know what TV I want to get, but I can’t quite decide on home theater audio systems. What kind of home theatre system should I get? Part of me wants to get one of those over the top, extremely high powered home theater systems. I want to be able to turn up the sound as loud as I want and scare the neighbors. Another part of me, however, thinks that I’m getting too old for that. Rationally, I think it would be better served by a home theater system with flat-panel speakers. I have heard that that kind of home theater system delivers the best sound quality, which is kind of the whole point.

We all know how cinema tends to go way off track. The “based on true events” spiel can be pretty vague to say the least. For all we know, each story contained human beings and took place on planet earth, hence based on true “EVENTS.” Regardless of any truth relating back to the “Scream” film, the scream masks will remain in circulation. We horror nuts love these like we do the Jason, Freddy, and Michael Myers masks. They’re classics that will come out on each and every Halloween night.

Written By : Agatha Christie, Narrated By : David Suchet, Runtime : 6 hours
You will absolutely love Murder on the Orient Express. From the very beginning of the book you are hooked. The murder happens early in the story making it a “page turner” from the start. Hercule Poirot, the detective, is thrown into the crime with the duty to solve the muder. The thriller was made into an iconic film in 1974 starring a host of instantly recognizable faces, including Albert Finney, Lauren Bacall, Sean Connery, and Ingrid Bergman, who won an Oscar for her performance. Poirot has to question every member aboard the Orient Express letting you get to know the characters. The ending of the book is wonderful, and the narration from David Suchet is fantastic: listen to a sample here

If you like to watch Hollywood movies online, however, you have to look a little bit harder than that. Don’t get me wrong – you can watch movies online from whatever genre you want. The problem is that most of them aren’t actually up on the World Wide Web. The best way to watch movies online if you are looking for commercial films is to go on USENET. As long as you have some type of USENET server, you can download movies from the Internet to your hearts content. There are literally tens of thousands of different newsgroups, many of which offer you the opportunity to watch movies online. Although downloading can be a little bit slow, it is definitely worth it.

Movie reviews online have certain advantages when compared to other movie reviews. Firstly, there is no restraint of any sort like space constraint and the like. Secondly, one can add many links that might lead to trailers, discussion and other pertinent information about the film. Movie reviews online can also contain a lot of images and also embedded video.
