I teach at an elementary school and I spend the majority of the day on my feet. The Dansko professional clogs offer great comfort along with quaint style that I can live with. These aren’t the top-of-the-line high heel shoes that some professionals wear but they are perfect for a person in a humble profession.

Comfort and style rarely go hand-in-hand but I am pretty comfortable with the way that my Dansko professional clogs look when I am wearing slacks. These shoes aren’t the best with knee-length skirts but they are adorable when paired with longer skirts and dresses. They offer casual style and I don’t have to put my feet up at the end of the day.

I am not a drama queen, a fashion horse, or a party girl. All I know is that since I was in first grade I have been in love with high heeled boots. I remember sitting in my classroom and watching the new girl come into the class. School had begun only a week earlier, but her family moved to the area too late for her to start class with everyone else. What I remember the most about this incident was that I loved her hair and her high heeled boots. That may seem like a strange look for a first grader, but when I was in that grade it was very common.

Living in a place like Dallas or Houston affords for some great fashion looks. Just walking down the street in one of these southern cities gives you a glimpse into real cowboy western wear. Leather boots, blue jeans and ten-gallon hats dot the landscape in Texas. If you love the look but you live farther north, you might think dressing like a cowboy or cowgirl is off limits. That’s really not the case as anyone can pull of the western wear look with the right clothes.

I love to have a choice when it comes to color. The Converse All Star shoes come in many different colors in its classic design. The women’s line has some amazing hues that add spice to just about any casual wardrobe. I bought a bright pink pair that is really cute but I also collected a few different colors as well.

You can’t have too many shoes especially when they are so affordable. I have a whole collection of Converse All Star shoes in a variety of colors. This way, I can mix and match them to different outfits. When the footwear is carefully matched you can get away with wearing them with just about any style.
