Skype Outage Causes Many Grief But Skype Will Recover
Skype suffered a large service outage that began Thursday August 16th, 2007.
Skype announced that their staff found the source of the issue and it should be fixed within 12 to 24 hours.
The issue was grave enough to cause Skype to temporarily stop all access to the free Skype download.
Skpe has had a very strong record of uptime previously and this outage is a first in recent memory. However, history serves as a lesson and a future indicator. Skype in 2007 and beyond will be just fine.
