You want to try many of them, as they can all give you different information when you search for people online. If you find them, you may get a variety of different ways to reach them. You may get a phone number to come up, or perhaps a postal address will be listed. You may also get an email address through which you can contact them almost instantly if you wish.

You can also go about your search for people online through social networks. These sites, like MySpace and FaceBook, are excellent sources for this type of searching. These sites are extremely popular today, and that means your friend may very well have a profile there. You should also see what you can find through professional networks like the one that Google has. Orkut is actually a mix of both. If someone is not on a social network, they could be on a professional one. Search for people online through each one you can find.

Don’t forget that there are also some very specialized ways you can go about searching for people online like classmate sites and sites that cater to specific hobbies or professions. What you should remember when you search for people online is that they are not always going to come up, but that does not mean that they will not be there in the future. Try again every few months if you really want to find someone. You should also know that there is a chance that this person or those people may also be searching for you.
