Male Infertility Problems

We thought only women should be tested for fertility. Today men have to go through male fertility test to determine the health of their sperm.

The rise of ICSI from 1997 to 2002 from 43% to 52% indicates that more men are taking ICSI as a step to overcome male infertility. This demonstrates that male infertility is increasing based on the rising use of ICSI. ICSI is a medical technique where the fertilization of the egg requires an injection of a single sperm directly to the egg. This may not be the best tips on getting pregnant.

In another study by the Canadian researches, older men are found with DNA damage in their sperm. They found that the DNA damage in men with the age 45 and above is higher by 2 times than men who are younger than 30.

For production of healthy sperm and testosterone, the enzymes need optimal temperature for best operation. Even if the temperature goes up by one degree, your body will produce unhealthy sperms and less testosterone.

Most women assume that impotence or decreased masculinity are the cause of infertility. There many factors that affect the sperm quality. Environmental toxins could be the primary factor of male infertility. Furthermore, the food that we eat produce has some negative impact on the endocrine system. Some men feel strongly about taking male fertility vitamins in the hopes that they will correct their defective reproductive health.

Now you can’t argue that infertility is a woman’s problem. As we are lucky enough with the latest technology in the medical field, you should be rest assured that there are some treatments that can fix your fertility problems. However, treating any health issues is not going to be cheap.
