Orchids For Everyone
It’s not that difficult to add orchids to your list of gardening expertise. If you want to grow these pleasing flowers, then you have more than 20,000 species to select from - many of which will grow fine in your house. You might even discover that taking care of orchids is no harder than caring for any other houseplant!
Orchids are tropical flowers so they require a lot of humidity. If you keep the humidity near the plant in the optimum range it can thrive anywhere in the house. What’s optimum? Anywhere between 40 to 70 percent depending on the species of orchid.
Orchids also need the ideal amount of sunshine. Most do good with a regular level of light but you might have to provide alternate lighting if your plant isn’t getting enough.
