Outdoor Statues
In Portland Oregon, the city I live in, there is an outdoor venue beer garden that uses this approach very well. In amongst the plants on the patio, there are several small statues that are easy to miss at first. They are looking out at the customers, and as you sit there you sometimes get glimpses of them out of the corner of your eye.
