Acid reflux illness – that burning sensation that can sometimes feel like a heart attack affects millions of people each day. One of the main reasons why people suffer from this is due to a poor diet, but if you have acid reflux what can you eat?

Sometimes the foods that trigger acid reflux are different for each individual so you might want to keep a food diary to determine what your trigger foods are. In general, some foods you may want to avoid include peppermint, fatty foods, fried foods, spicy foods, alcohol, citrus, garlic, chocolate and carbonated beverages.
