The first thing most people think when they hear about a Miniature Pinscher is that it is simply a Miniature Doberman Pinscher. It is not. In fact the Min Pin is an older breed than the Doberman. It was originally bred to be a ratter, taking care of the rats that hung around barnyards in the early 19th century. Now the Miniature Pinscher is an ideal family pet. You’d be hard pressed to find a breed with more personality.
