The Alaskan Husky Is Bred For One Purpose Only
It’s a shame really. The sole purpose of the Alaskan Husky is to be a superior sled dog. If the dog fails in this regard, then most breeders will consider the animal as basically useless. That’s too bad, because on those occasions when a family does keep one as a pet, they find they own one of the friendliest breeds available. Actually it is not so much a breed as it is a mixed breed. In fact breeders try so many breed combinations that the look of the Alaskan Husky is extremely varied.
