How To Strengthen a Concrete Foundation?
In most cases, concrete foundation is reinforced with rebar. These are thick metal bars that run through the concrete to add strength. Most concrete is made with this inside, but where and why something is being used determines how much or if it is needed at all.
Concrete foundation alone, without the rebar, will not be strong enough to stand the test of time. Even foundations built primarily with already made concrete blocks have the same type of reinforcement built right in to give the foundation the strength that it needs.
