If you already know about Squidoo then you’re one step ahead of the pack as there is a mad race on to claim the best Squidoo lens names.
Similar to the dot com gold rush, new lenses are popping up like mad and all of the good names are started to get snatched up!
So – you get yourself a lens and put up a nice page at Squidoo and nothing happens… get ready – because unless you promote your lens NOTHING is what will happen. Sure you may get a little traffic from Squidoo from searches and eventually you may get traffic for some long tail search phrases but until you PIMP your Squidoo Lens (as in promote) you’ll only gain minor benefit.
