Don’t Toss Your Old Cell Phones - They’re Worth Some Money.
Over the years, old cell phones tend to pile up. With each contract renewal, my provider gives me the latest cool cell phone gadget as part of the service plan. As a result, I am amassing my own private collection of cell phones. I have a couple from years ago that are about size of a can of hairspray — big, bulky, and totally outdated.
For some reason, I’ve never thrown them out. It’s kind of like an old computer — there’s just something about throwing them out that is unappealing. They might be good for parts. Maybe they’re polluting the environment. I’m not sure why I never throw these things out but after a recent discovery, am glad I kept the old cell phones.
